Welcome to the Boruto anime. You probably have heard a lot of hate comments already but still came to give this anime a chance, that's a big W. I guarantee you'll not be disappointed. The anime has it's lows, but skip it.
Note: The start may be a bit slow, but I recommend as it builds the new shinobi world of boruto era quite nicely!

70-92(Mitsuki revival arc, could have been a really decent arc if it was 10 episodes shorter and less bs, had potential)
106-111( Steam ninja scroll, novel adaptation. Watch if you wanna see more kakashi and gai)
120-126( I really liked shinki and wanted to see him more, this arc provides it plus more surprise iykwim)
127-136( Doesn't contribute to the main story but is fun watching kid boruto and naruto meet, watch it as a non canon movie lol)

Until now I've never watched boruto because of prejudice and also because I've tried the movie when it was released in 2015 and din't like the new system, the new main character x), all the ninja tools, the changes of Konoha, the new police or something along the line, and Naruto being super nerfed lol...but I it seems more interesting now so I'll guess I'll try even some of the fillers so thank you !!
(idk but Boruto in the movie was really annoying while now I kind of like him)

To be honest the animation for boruto has been consistent but they story for the anime just didn’t grab people cause it’s either boruto and friends going on some kind of mission

It is not fully revealed yet but i think kawaki prob will not killed naruto he prob sent him somewhere else like in different dimension like in the fight of naruto and kaguya they were fighting in different dimensions. He will prob return maybe in between this fight or after with everyone alive.(Plot twist that i hope)

Hi-key considering watching Boruto cause I miss my bois. Also, Kawaki seems like a good boy and I kinda wanna know the story. Do ya'll recommend? Should I lower my expectations?

Boruto is an amazing anime I'd personally recommend it. It has a total of 24 filler episodes which you can skip, but if you're bored like me you can watch them anyways

Honestly since the anime is 5 years old I would say skip all the introduction stuff and the retelling of the chunin exam arc because you can watch that in the movie
